Milford Haven and the Haven of water the town was built beside was the setting for a Shakespeare play! The Haven was so beautiful that it could only be considered a gift!

The Haven’s water depth and protection offered from the sea provided refuge to ships for centuries. The Hubberston area is named after the Viking king who wintered here.

In the 1800s, Milford Haven grew after a community of Quakers were invited here by Charles Greville, a pioneering aristocrat.
